Her platform: “Encouraging people to beautifully preserve memories of the precious moments that pass by way too quickly, whether through scrapbooking or photography.”

Her home: Gilbert, Arizona

Her family: Married to Brian. Mom to Tyler (8), Matthew (7), Nathan (5), and Emily (2)

Her proudest professional accomplishment: Creating and launching my online photography workshops! I had no idea they would take off like they have, and it has been a true delight to watch my students grow so quickly and learn things like shooting in manual mode in only a few short weeks.

How she discovered scrapbooking: I have always been a collector of paper and stickers but started actually scrapbooking in high school.

Her big break: I entered a mini book into a mini-album contest held by the scrapbook-product manufacturer Making Memories, and I was one of the winners! Then they started asking me to create layouts for packaging and it all progressed from there.

Her must-read blogs: Oh Joy!, Nienie Dialogues, design sponge

Her version of the annoying catchphrase, “_____ is the new ____”: For me, white is the new black. I used to have a ton of black in my house, but 4 years ago I sold it all and started collecting white furniture. I’m all about the fresh, crisp, clean look that white provides!

An opinion she keeps to herself: When art and photographs are hung too high in people’s homes. That kind of drives me crazy (just a little).
