If our newest Cover Girl’s name sounds a bit familiar, it’s because she’s been a guest blogger over on The Daily Trumpet, and she also won a readers’ choice contest that earned her a spot in Donna Jannuzzi’s Stretch Your Sketches eBook. Her latest triumph is winning our February 2010 cover contest
with a lovely Valentine’s-themed design. Here’s a bit more about Lisa!
My name is: Lisa Kisch
My family is made up of: My husband, Quillan, our two little girls, Audrey and Lily, and our 7-year-old black lab, Millie.
I've been scrapbooking since: 2003, shortly after I got married. It took me two years to complete my wedding album. Miraculously, I didn't quit right there!
~Not to tattle, but 6 years later, Angie Lucas still hasn’t completed hers.
My cover layout was inspired by: An image I saw on the Tumblr bulletin board from Write.Click.Scrapbook. See the original graphic here.

I spend my days: Mommying and auditioning for musicals—and sometimes even performing in them, when I'm lucky.
People are always surprised to find out that I: was in the original North American company of the Mamma Mia musical. I cannot count the number of "Dancing Queen" choruses I sang in over 600 performances.
~The question is, can she count the number of times she could “feel the beat from the tambourine, oh yeah-ah-ah”?
My favorite guilty pleasure is: Nutella on a spoon, straight out of the jar.
I never thought I'd: miss 3:00 a.m. feedings, but as my girls grow, I do miss the baby thing.
In 10 years, I hope to be: Prepared to parent two pre-teen girls. (Shudder.)
~Nothing can prepare a person for that! Except, perhaps, for once being a pre-teen girl.
I'd describe my scrapbooking style as: Hmmm...I have trouble categorizing myself. I've been told I'm a little simple, a little decorative, and a lot accessible. I like all those words.
If I could go back in time, I would: not change a thing. You know, I have no regrets. I'm pretty darn happy where I am right now (knock on wood), and everything in my past has led to this beautiful life. Okay, maybe I wouldn't have permed my Princess Di cut when I was 11. That wasn't pretty.
~It’s okay, Lisa. Every woman over a certain age has at least one unfortunate permanent wave in her past.
If I were a scrapbook supply, I'd be: a set of Thickers, so I could really spell it out for people, you know?
If I were to author an eBook, I'd title it: "My Neighborhood, My Inspiration." I think if you walk around your neighborhood right now and take 10 photos, you'd find a whole bucket of inspiration!
My favorite Ella eBook is: A Year in the Life: Scrapbook your year in 24 simple layouts. I'm a Write.Click.Scrapbook. groupie!
~Don’t tell anyone else, but we can get you an autograph...

Thanks, Lisa, for putting up with our prying! Everyone else, if you’d like to learn more about this singing, dancing, lullaby-writing scrapbooker, visit her at lisakisch.typepad.com.
