Any relevant website can sign up for our affiliate program, which is managed through Share-a-Sale. We offer a standard 10-percent commission rate and 30-day cookies. (This simply means that if someone clicks from your site to ours but doesn't purchase anything until 29 days later, you'll still get credit for the sale.)

To sign up for the first time, here's what you do:

1. Follow this link and follow the five steps outlined there: http://shareasale.com/newsignup.cfm

2. Then, click Find/Join Merchants > View and Search Merchant List
Click Basic Keyword Search, search for Ella Publishing Co., and click "Join Program."

3. Once those steps are done, anytime you click Get a Link/Banner, Ella Publishing banners and text links will be available there.

Adding banners to your Blogger blog

1. Go to shareasale.com
2. Click on Affiliate login (upper right corner)
3. Under the "Get Links" column, click on "Get a Link/Banner" (second column in)
4. Scroll down, and you'll see Ella Publishing Co. click "Get Links"
5. Click "View All Creatives Available"
6. Click on the banner or text link you want. Click "Get this Banner's HTML Code." Copy the entire code, from the beginning <a to the closing </a>, which will look like this, only it will have YOUR affiliate account number coded into it:

Now to add to your blog
7. Log in to your Blogger account, click the Design Tab, then Add a Gadget. Click "HTML/Java Script" in the list, then paste the entire code you copied from Share-a-Sale (from the opening <a> to the closing </a>) into the Content field. Add a title ("Buy My eBook" or whatever). Click Save. You'll see it in your blog sidebar!
8. You can also add a banner or text link within a post! Copy the html code as outlined in step 1 above. While in Blogger composing a post, click the "Edit HTML" tab and paste the entire code where you want it. Then click back on the "Compose" tab, and the banner will magically appear.

Adding banners to your Typepad blog

1. Go to shareasale.com

Now to add to your blog
7. Log in to your Typepad account, click the Library tab, then click Typelists.
8. In upper right hand corner click Add a Typelist
9. For type, select Note and give it a List Name like, "Read my ebook" or "New from Ella" or "Learn Something" whatever.
10. Add a Label if you want (like descriptive text or repeating the title of the eBook), then paste the entire code you copied from Share-a-Sale (from the opening <a> to the closing </a>) in the Notes field. Click Save.
11. Then click the Publish tab, click the checkbox of the page to publish it on (if necessary), and click Save Changes. Now click Organize Content > Content and drag the typelist in place. Click Preview to see how it looks and Save Changes once you're satisfied.
