My Favorite Things about Stamping

February is the month of love, and since I love stamping there’s no better month to celebrate stamping, IMHO (unless it’s every month)! I’m excited to share a few of my favorite things about stamping with you . . .

I love texture and dimension, not just on projects but on everything! And there are so many ways to create texture in stamping. . . this butterfly card is a great example. To create this card, I used Stampin’ Up!’s Apothecary Art stamp set. Those images, plus the embossed background, the different accessories (brad, ribbon, hairpin, etc.), and three different layers of the butterfly creates all kind of texture on this card.

As a mother of five young children, saving time is a top priority for me, so I’m always looking for simplicity. One of my favorite things about stamping is that it doesn’t have to take a lot of time to create a simple, handmade, heartfelt card. . . and yet, you can still do lots of fun things that keep your project interesting. For this card, I used the You’re My Type stamp set and a basic color palette to create a fun card in only  minutes. I especially liked the way the paper looks like it’s coming out of the typewriter. . .

I also really love the versatility that stamping provides. With a few simple supplies, I can create projects for all kinds of different occasions by just changing the colors or using different images. These two birthday boxes are made from Stampin’ Up!’s Sweet Cake stamp set , yet they look completely different. All I did was change up the colors, add different accessories, and I have the perfect gift for a girl OR a boy!

Finally, I love to feel like I’m an artist. With stamps, I already have beautiful images . . . all I have to do is ink and stamp.  This simple yet elegant frame features Stampin’ Up!’s Bordering on Romance set, and while it wasn’t hard to create, it does look like it was made by someone who is pretty artistic!

You can find all of these stamp sets and many of the accessories in Stampin’ Up!’s Occasions Mini Catalog; check it out here. You can also check out our complete product offerings at our website.

I love the flexibility of stamping!
I love that I can match colors. I love that stamps are reusable. I love that I never run out of "s" or end up with only "z" left!
I love trying new things. Lately I have been trying to come up with my own cards using a card sketch. I love how it challenges me.
I love that you can create something for someone to match their personality :)

I love how at the beginning when I started that I felt I had no creativity at all, but now I feel there are endless possibilities with all that stamping provides!
What's there not to love about stamping! I love everything. I love that it is relaxing and that once I'm done with whatever I am working on I have a beautiful card or project to give someone.
I love that you can use stamps over and over-different colors and different combinations equal different results-unlimited possibilities.
When I create a card or a scrapbook page, I feel such a sense of pride and accomplishment that I don't get any where else. It's such a great way to express your creative side and a great stress reliever!
Hand-making my cards allows me to design with the person in mind!
I love making things for others...a card, a scrapbook, a special treat. I can make it as simple or elaborate as I want with stamps.
I love creating cards. Taking the extra steps to actually create for someone makes me feel I've really put thought into that person. I not only think about them while writing a note, but the whole creation process. Everything about the card is made for them :)
I love stamping because it is so versatile and allows crafty people to all make something different w the same products! Stamping is never the same twice!:)
I love stamping especially stampin up products as all the colors coordinate so well....you can do so many great projects using the same set of products.... best thing is a handmade card.
I love that Stamping relieves my stress level and you can create something that puts a smile on someone else face.

I love that stamping lets me be creative without having to be an artist!
I love the variety of projects you can make using many different types of materials. And I am a traditional scrapbooker all the way-so far no-body has converted me, not saying it can't be done ;) Thank you for sharing your projects!!
I love Stampin"Up
For the past 11 years the Stampin' Up products has given me the opportunity to have me time. I have enjoyed making cards for family and friends. I also love using the products to make different types of gifts for my friends. It feels really good when I give a gift and the receiver is excited with a homemade gift.
I love that you can find peace while stamping and unwind after a stressful day. It's so thereputic
I love being able to use my stamps to make a card then use them to make a wood sign or to use them on material and ribbons. The possibilities are endless! I love the fact that there are endless projects to use stamps on. I really like being able to add dimension to any project I'm working on. I'm always excited to recieve a new catalog from stampin up! to see whats up and coming in the world of stamps and acessories.
I have been a fan of Stampin Up since the "stitched stamps" were the thing. I love stamping and have involved my kids and foster kids into creating their own scrapbooks as a way to journal their lives. They open up about things that they weren't sure they wanted to talk about. They love the time spent with Mom and the approval they get for their creations. They teach me more than I could possibly teach them with their ability to think outside of the box.
I love feeling "artistic" and creating with stamps. I also love to see how many different cards or scrapbook pages you can make with one stamp set. Would love to win this stamp set. Thank you for the opportunity.
I love to stamp and create unique cards for people. It means a lot to someone getting a card from the heart. It is a way to try new things, work with new colors, get creative.
