This book looks great! My favourite tradition is making gift tags with pretty papers and ribbons!
Does making Christmas cookies count as crafty? It was a tradition growing up, and now I do it with my niece and nephew!
I love making a Yule Log! Yum Yum Yum
I make Christmas cards every few years. In between I like to sew up a storm for Christmas. Or do Swedish Weave. Crafting gifts for Christmas sure helps me feel the true spirit of the season.
My favorite tradition is getting a family picture...I have an album dedicated to Christmas so I can see how we've grown/changed as a family...
Making homemade Christmas cards is my favorite Christmas craftiness.
I love getting out the santa sacks I made for the children about 8 years ago. They are square patchwork star block with a read rope to tie them and they hold lots of presents!!
Our favorite tradition is that we have homemade pizza on Christmas eve and the kids each choose one present to open. I love that little bit of time we get to spend together...time together is so precious and such an immeasurable gift.
Every year I make my Christmas cards, but that's a crafty given. I also love to make snowflakes with my children to decorate the walls and windows. I am sure in a few years I will need a new tradition as my children will get too old for snowflakes, but for now it is great fun.
As a kid, I always made the paper chains to decorate with. I remember that with a lot of happiness. Thanks for the giveaway! Looks like a great book.
I'm not the craftiest person but I get the urge to be crafty more so during the holidays than any other time. I like to embellish some of the ornaments I buy at the store to make them more personalized for my tree.

Actually today I'm hoping to finish the last of my Christmas cards, and then I can start playing around with making tags from all the leftover bits and bobs. Thanks for the chance to win from the Girls' Loft.
I love to make cards. I also love to make intricate snowflakes to decorate the windows. Would love to win that kit!
I love making homemade Christmas cards. I also get personalized return address labels with pictures of my kids to spice up the envelopes.
Building a gingerbread house is a tradition that we LOVE to do on a chilly afternoon - especially since we get to nibble on the candies and icing while we're at it!! :o)
My favorite crafty thing at Christmas is making Christmas cards. Last year, I even designed and mass produced a card for my Mom and Dad!
My favorite crafty thing is to make an ornament with my kids to give as gifts to friends & family. My auntie & uncle would make each of us nieces & nephews a new ornament each year & even gave us a box after a few years to collect them all in it. Our tree had 5 of the same ornaments on it for every year (one for my parents, and then one for each of us 4 girls). This is a tradition that I love dearly & look forward to sharing with the next generation...my children & my nieces & nephews. It can be simple or elaborate, and usually very inexpensive.
my favorite crafty thing tradition is to make Christmas cards for the Grandparents.
My favorite is planning out our family picture and Christmas cards!
Our favourite Christmas craft is making paper snowflakes - the kids just love doing that every year and fill the hallway!
I too stamp Christmas cards every year and I make fuzzy warm pajama bottoms for my sisters.
Well, I am still trying to figure out a tradition to do ... but so far, every year, I have created a photo album of my best layouts for the year for grandparents. So far, they have said it is their favorite gifts every year!
Each year, my kids make a special ornament for their godmothers... and my kids are now 19 and 16! And, yes, they still like doing it... even my 19-yr-old son! :) The godparents have received about 15 ornaments so far... who knows if we'll ever stop the tradition. Once the kids are out of the house (sniff, sniff... only a few years to go...) it'll be harder to make, but maybe they'll come home to visit and carry on this special tradition! Ooooooh... I can make ornaments w/my grandkids someday... :)
Every year I make a Christmas ornament of some sort. My favourite thing is when it's time to decorate and I get to pull out all of the ornaments to see the different things I've made. It's fun to remember!
We do lots of crafty things for the holidays - baking, ornaments, scrap pages/gifts, etc. My favorite thing to do, though, is making the holiday paper chains for the kids to countdown until Christmas Eve. Just like the traditional paper links we made as kids, but we use Christmas paper and put a number on each ring so no one gets confused. Since I have 3 kids, we have to make 3 chains. We usually make them the weekend after Thanksgiving. They love it!
I buy lots (and I mean lots) of miniature trees after Christmas at 90% off and the next year we decorate them to take to local nursing homes. Record was 98 trees and other crafty goodies-enough for each resident!
My kids really love to make something handmade for their teachers. Nothing fancy, something like a pocket calendar or little book, but they really enjoy doing it and their teachers are always touched that they have something personalized and hopefully useful along with their gift card.
I love making Christmas cards and paper ornaments :)
Our favorite crafty tradition is stringing popcorn and cranberries!

I'm boring... I like making cards and gifts. Every year I make at least one handmade gift for family. Picture frames, card sets, etc. This year they are all getting a home-sewn totebag.
