Wednesday Giveaway!

It's giveaway day! To enter to win, just leave a comment describing how digi savvy you are, using a school analogy. In other words, when it comes to digital scrapbooking, you are: in kindergarten, a 3rd grader, a 7th grader, a high-school graduate, a Ph.D., etc. :-)

I'll pick one random winner who'll get a seat in Renee's awesome "Just the Basics" beginner's workshop, plus one random winner who'll get a seat in Tiffany Tillman's "The Photoshop Brushshop Class" at reneepearson.com. Here are the details:

Just the Basics

January 28 – February 25 (4 weeks)
Instructor: Renee Pearson
Experience Level: Beginner

Nearly five years ago, when Renee wrote the first Digital Designs for Scrapbooking, computers were not yet an essential tool for mainstream scrapbooking. As the popularity of digital scrapbooking has grown, so has the need for easy-to-follow instructions. That's why she developed this workshop.

Renee will personally lead you through the fun, fast and easy lessons designed specifically for the beginning digital scrapbooker or crafter. Using Adobe Photoshop Elements 6, 7 or 8 and the digital kits and templates provided, you'll be whipping out digital scrapbook pages in no time.

The curriculum is based on weekly lessons including video, pdf and other learning aids. The workshop is designed to gradually introduce new topics and skills, allowing you to master one skill set before moving on to the next. At the end, you'll have a comprehensive set of skills you can use to create your own digital pages.

The Photoshop Brushshop

February 1 – February 21 (3 weeks)
Instructor: Tiffany Tillman
Experience Level: Intermediate

Grab your smock, clean your digital palette and get your hands dirty for our premiere art class: The Photoshop Brushshop brought to you by Tiffany Tillman.

This is the perfect course for digital enthusiasts who want to explore the Brush tool as well as discover their inner, creative artist. Tiffany will teach you secrets to mixing your brushes, not with paints, but with paths, masks and modes that put digital design on the map! She'll also pull you out of the pixels and into your own paper to digital art studio! My friends—this isn't just a workshop. This is the Brushshop!

Enter and win!

p.s. Our winners from Monday's quiz video contest are commenter #10 TracyBzz and commenter #18 asetti. Congrats! I'll be emailing you your coupon codes!

7th grader, but gaining fast on the high school crowd!
kindergarten for sure - happy, excited, interested, and ready to learn :)

I'm the new kid in school who sort of knows the formulas in math class, at least enough to fake it for the other students, but deep down I always wonder, "Do I really get it? Really?"
Ummm, maybe about grade 2, but wanting to move up.
I am still in the womb--waiting to be born into this exciting world of digital scrapbooking (sorry Angie--I KNOW you hate when we use nouns as verbs!) :-)
I have never done any digi scrapping, although I do edit most of my pics...I'll say grade 2. I'd love to learn more though :)
I'm about 2nd grade. I've learned a little but have a long ways to go. Would love to win a class so I can move up! Thanks for the opportunity to win a great prize!
Hm, more than a high-school grad, but not a doctoral ... so, how about a college graduate?
I would say that I am in first grade. I feel like I know everything, but something tells me there's a lot more to learn! :)
I'd describe myself as an undergrad... I got my BA and would like to get a Phd eventually... :)
I need the basic course, as I'm about in first grade when it comes to digital scrapbooking (even though I have a doctoral degree in real life, LOL).
3rd grader here!
Definitely I am kindergarten level. If preschool was an option, maybe even that. I got my photoshop elements a year ago and still only know how to do guided edits to my photos. Thanks.
I'm probably about a 6th grader & learning new stuff all the time!
I am in kindergarden and trying really hard to learn - one step at a time!
PRESCHOOL! Yep, I have NO idea! Would like to learn though...
I'm going to say preschool ... I follow directions well, but don't leave me alone. :)
I'm going to say grade 8! But the more courses I take, the more I learn!
At what grade do you realize that you could figure it out, but its easier to let the experts teach you?
5th grade. Slowly learning.
I'd say I'm probably in junior high! 7th or 8th grade. I know some stuff but I'm not very good at it.
Umm preschool, I don't think I am even out of diapers yet when it comes to digital scrapbooking .
Seriously, I'm in diapers, too. Maybe working on potty training! I know very little and am afraid if I learn I won't want to use all my papers and stuff! But I do think it's fascinating.
I guess I'm about a second grader. I've dabbled with making calendars and Christmas cards. But there's soooooo much I don't know!
I'd say probably about 3rd -4th grade. The more I play the more I find out. I really enjoy it, just need more time to play.
Kindergarten...maybe First grade. But really want to learn more!
I am in kindergarten. I can put a title on a photo in PSE. I have PSE but other than "quick fix" and cropping, I don't use much else. Learning PSE for scrapbooking is one of my new year resolutions!
I'd have to say I'm just about a first or second grader. I'm in need of tutoring, or I'm going to be a dropout.
I'd say 2nd grade....I've got my printing pretty much under control, but that cursive....boy that's an entirely new thing to me! I can edit a little in photoshop, but it scares me to think of doing more!
Oh, pick me, pick me! (Hand waving madly in the air.) I'm definitely in Kindergarten and in desperate need of a grade enhancement, Mrs. Lucas. I SO wanted to sign up for Mrs. Pearson's class, but alas, cash eludes this little Kindergartner ;)
